IPOH, 30 September 2026 — Stage Four of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2026 got underway this morning from the Sultan Azlan Shah Roundabout in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh, sending the international peloton on a punishing 142.3-kilometre race towards Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands.
The stage was officially flagged off by Perak Police Chief, Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin.
Before hitting the hills, the route guided cyclists through a wide swathe of Perak’s central corridor, passing Chemor, Jelapang, Kledang, Batu Gajah, Bemban, Gopeng, Kampar, Temoh, and Tapah. Riders contested three intermediate sprint points located in Gopeng, Kampar, and Tapah, providing early opportunities for breakaway points.
The race reached its climax with the formidable Hors Catégorie (HC) ascent into the highlands, culminating at the finish line in Tanah Rata at an elevation of 1,451 metres.
Alongside testing the endurance of world-class cyclists, the high-profile stage served as a rolling showcase of Perak’s varied terrain, heritage towns, and scenic countryside to global sports audiences.
