Piala Muzik Harmoni (Harmony Music Cup) Edisi Ke-3 is one of the flagship events of Ipoh City Music Month 2026, organised by the Ipoh Chinese Cultural and Orchestra Association. The competition celebrates musical excellence and cultural diversity by bringing together talented performers from Malaysia and abroad. This year’s edition features over 100 teams and approximately 3,000 participants, making it one of the largest music competitions in the region.
The event showcases a wide variety of musical genres and cultural performances, including Traditional Malay Music, Traditional Indian Music, Chinese Orchestra, Western instrumental ensembles, and the iconic 24 Festive Drums, reflecting Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage. Beyond the competition, the Harmony Music Cup serves as a platform for cultural exchange, artistic collaboration, and the promotion of Ipoh as a dynamic destination for arts, music, and cultural tourism.
